The home recording customer feedback on this tape has been outstanding, and US Recording always has the freshest tape, right from the factory. This is the very long awaited RMGI LPR35 34530 from Holland and is a no brainer replacement for Maxell UDXL35-180B and AMPEX 457 open reel tape, yet you can record 3 dB hotter on this tape than Maxell tape. (Maxell was +3 OL this is +6 OL tape.) This precision slit and coated tape is similar to 457 in operating level (+6). This tape is the same as SM911 except on a thinner, longer play 1 mil base film. You get 3600' of 1/4" 1 mil back coated tape in pancake format...NOT on a reel. (All you need to assemble a reel of this is order one of our flange sets, one hardware set, and one box.) Note: An ECO box is not big enough to hold a reel of this tape, it's meant only as a shipper for the pancake. Made in Holland. Please click on the photo for a larger image.
