This crystal clear leader is meant for auto stop and auto reverse tape decks that use clear, transparent tape to trigger the deck to stop or reverse. One example would be the Revox A77 open reel deck. You get 410 feet on a 5" reel in a white box. Normally you need perhaps 4" to stop the deck (this is all up to the deck design) so 410 feet is good for putting sensing on over 600 tapes if you leader both ends. Normally people use this in conjunction with white leader using only enough clear leader to trigger the deck. We have to say this, this leader will NOT make your deck stop or reverse if the deck isn't designed to use clear leader tape to optically trigger the deck. Made in Europe.
